It was such a joy to watch as the children came in to class this morning. As you will see in today’s video, everyone immediately got right down to work. Kodable is a big hit with most of the students, but some 3rd and 4th graders started right in on Gamestar Mechanic.
This morning’s OFFLINE ACTIVITIES included designing and implementing an algorithm for making a paper airplane, and playing an exciting game that helps students undestand conditionals. Next, the students learned to program multiple sprites in Scratch Jr. and vary their speeds for a race. In the afternoon, Students started using blockly in their courses at Code.org.
