Our post includes both a photo slideshow of students working and a video featuring one of today’s unplugged activities. Look for more posts during the week.
In the morning, students worked with Kodable on iPads, learned about Grace Hopper and the first computer bug, played the Conditionals Game, and wrote some programming sequences to get a robot student out the door. In the afternoon, students did an unplugged activity called Happy Maps and another called Make Your Own Fuzz, then student groups started their Code.org online activities using laptops. Activities are chosen to accommodate both emerging and fluent readers.
