Tuesday Robotics Wrap Up

Surprisingly, this post’s video does not feature students doing robotics. Turns out, some students discovered Scratch Jr. on their iPads, so they asked me for a lesson. Scratch Jr. is an incredible and developmentally appropriate programming language for children ages five through seven. Using the ScratchJr iPad application, children can create their own interactive collages, animated stories, and games. In fact, these two students, after just ONE lesson, decided they wanted to make a movie. Of course, they tidied up their robotics materials, first.
